Adventure time! The One, our Incomparable Prestige Dance Weekender for the discerning, will be taking us to Poland in 2018.

We can boldly state that it'll be nothing like anything you've experienced before! Having feted you in castles in Slovakia and Ireland in the past, this time we will be going subterranean and venturing into the incredibly amazing world that is Wieliczka Salt Mine. We invite you to follow in the footsteps of Copernicus; Goethe; Humboldt; Chopin; Mendeleyev; Prus; Baden-Powell; Pope John-Paul II and Bill Clinton, among others.

About the location:
Opened in the 13th century, Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the oldest in the world. It is situated in the town of Wieliczka, in the Kraków metropolitan area of southern Poland. It produced table salt continuously until 2007. The mine is one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments and is sometimes referred to as "the Underground Salt Cathedral of Poland". It goes down to a depth of 327 meters and is over 287 kilometres (178 miles) long. Even the crystals of the impressive chandeliers are made from rock salt. The mine was put on the original UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1978.

The venue:
Our event chamber is 135 meters underground. Its magnificent walls are carved out of green rock salt. It has outstanding acoustics.

Accommodation:
Three nights' B&B in 4-star Grand Sal Hotel. The hotel stands in a park right on the mine grounds, literally 2 minutes' walk from the entrance to the mine-shaft.
